Are used in manufacturing of pipes, screens, supports for screens, crucibles, heaters. The heaters are applied instead of the tungstene and molybdenic ones for smelting of rare and semi-conductor metals in vacuum and other closed electric furnaces at temperatures up to 2000°С.From the graphites of the specified marks are made protective blocks and covers for thermocouples and thermometers working in neutral environments up to 2300°С and oxidizing environments up to 400-450°С; plates and blocks for the chemical equipment lining, pig-iron and slag troughs.The graphites ГМЗ, ГМЗ-0 belong to the class of low-ash medium-grained graphites; ГМЗА - to the class of low-ash coarse-grained graphites of general purpose; the 3ОПГ and ВПГ - to the class of the improved structure dense graphites.
