The fire-bar element explosion-proof block БЭВ-2
The fire-bar element explosion-proof block БЭВ-2 The block is intended for heating of greasing oil up to the temperature of 30±5°С in the gascompressor unit tank СТД 12500 with the purpose of providing the maximal readiness of the unit to start-up in a cold season.

The approval by the Gosgortekhnadzor (State Committee for Supervision of Safe Working Practices in Industry and for Mine Supervision) of Russia on manufacturing and application of БЭВ-1  No РРС 04-2473 (period of validity till 26.10.2003)

The certificate of conformity for БЭВ-1:  No РОСС RU.ГБ05.В00248 (period of validity till 18.12.2003)

The certificate of permissibility issued by ЦС ВЭ ИГД (Certificate Authority of the Institute of Mining and Metallurgy) No 2000.С208.

Greasing oil of the unit is the turbine oil ТП-22 according to the GOST 9972-74, the same is the working environment for electric heating units of the BLOCK, the power on the BLOCK can be supplied at temperature of working environment in limits from + 5°С up to + 40°С.

Fail-safety and explosion safety of operation of the BLOCK in the structure of the unit СТД 12500 are provided only at serviceability of the following blockings in the unit excluding contact of electric heating units with explosive environment and ensuring requirements of the operational documentation for the work of the unit:

- Blocking disconnecting the BLOCK at decrease of a level of oil in the tank of the unit, when a layer of oil less than 100 mm at horizontal mounting of the BLOCK is above an active part of the fire-bar element;

- Blocking disconnecting the BLOCK at heating of oil in a tank to more than 35°С, at transition of the unit into modes " Start-up "," Work "," Normal stop"," Emergency stop", at a signal "Fire ", at an ending of an automatic control mode;

- Blocking disconnecting the BLOCK at the termination of compulsory circulation of oil in the unit.

THE BLOCK has an " implosion protection" level of implosion protection of the " implosion proof" type according to the GOST 22782.6-81, has implosion protection marks "1ExdIIBT4X" and can be applied in premises of a В-1а class and outside units according to the “Rules of the electricity generating plants equipment" (ПУЭ-98), in which the explosive mixtures of vapours and gases can be formed of ПА and ПВ categories of the groups Т1, Т2, Т3, Т4 according to the GOST 12.1.011-78.

The mark X following the marks of implosion protection means that at operation of the BLOCK it is necessary to observe the following requirements and special conditions:

- The operation of the BLOCK is forbidden at absence of blocking disconnecting the BLOCK at decrease of a level of oil in a tank of the unit, when above an active part of the fire-bar element a layer of oil is less than 100 mm at horizontal mounting of the BLOCK;

- The operation of the BLOCK is forbidden at absence of blocking disconnecting the BLOCK at heating of oil in a tank to more than 35°С, at transition of the unit to the modes "Start-up", "Work", " Normal stop", " Emergency stop ", at a signal "Fire", at ending of the automatic control mode;

- The operation of the BLOCK is forbidden at absence of blocking disconnecting the BLOCK at the termination of compulsory circulation of oil in a tank of the unit;

- Temperature of oil in a tank of the unit should be in the limits from + 5°С up to + 40°С. The climatic modification of the BLOCK is УХЛ3 according to the GOST 15150.

THE BLOCK with implosion-proof case of the outputs of by an environment of fire-bar elements consists of the following basic units:

- Nine U-like electric heating units of the type ТЭН 180 Б13/1,1 Z 220, pressed by 3 pieces in flanges of the ТЭНБ blocks;

- planting (fixing) flange, being the basis of the implosion-proof case of the fire-bar elements outputs and having three tread apertures for mounting of ТЭНБ blocks;

- implosion-proof case of the fire-bar elements outputs, made of steel pipe Ж219 with the wall width 6 mm, hermetically solded to the planting (fixing) flange on the generatrix and closed from the other side by a special cover with threading  М210х2, made according to the GOST 22782.6;

- case of he input device (for input cable), hermetically solded to the implosion-proof case;

- outside and internal grounding clips;

- elements of the cable compaction in the case of he input device -- rubber ring, condensation in the case of the introduction device - rubber ring, pressing washer, union, check-nut. Implosion-proof level of the implosion protection of  the BLOCK is provided at its mounting on a tank of the unit, landing flange of the BLOCK tightly fastens to the flange of the pass-through aperture of the tank, on the surface of the unit tank there is left only implosion-proof case of the fire-bar elements outputs, consisting of steel pipe Ж219 мм, solded to the flange, cover screwed into the pipe, case of the input device of the cable, and that provides for the isolation of the contact outputs of the fire-bar elements from implosion-dangerous mixtures indoors and excludes transmission of the implosion energy to the environment. The active parts of the fire-bar elements BLOCK are put at mounting into working environment (oil) in the tank, which isolates them from the contact with implosion-dangerous environment.

The fire-bar elements connections in the BLOCK - star, the voltage of the power supplies is alternating, 380/220 V 50 Hz, it is connected by a four-core logging cable in a spiral wrap hose through the input device case directly with the fire-bar elements clips.

The working environment for the fire-bar elements is the mineral oil ТП-22 GOST 9972. At a compulsory mode of circulation of oil in the unit СТД 12500 temperatures on an active part of the fire-bar elements surface do not exceed 150°С, and temperature of heating of oil in the tank of the unit no more than 35°С.

The principle of work of the BLOCK is based on transformation of electrical energy to a thermal energy with heating a spiral and the fire-bar elements case. The fail-safety of operation of the BLOCK as part of the unit СТД 12500 can be provided only at presence in the unit of the following blockings:

- Blocking disconnecting the BLOCK at decrease of a level of oil in the tank of the unit, when above an active part of the fire-bar element a layer of oil is less than 100 mm at horizontal mounting of the BLOCK;

- Blocking disconnecting the BLOCK at heating of oil in a tank to more than 35°С, at transition of the unit into modes "Start-up", "Work", " Normal stop", " Emergency stop", at a signal "Fire", at ending of a mode of automatic control;

- Blocking disconnecting the BLOCK at the termination of compulsory circulation of oil in the unit.
