Glauconite sands are a polyfactorial fertilizer making it possible to enrich soil with sodium, phosphorus, magnesium and microelements: manganese, copper, zinc, boron etc. First of all they are characterized by a high sodium content (up to 9 %), ability to liberate sodium as easily digestible compounds over a long period of time.

Glauconite sands improve soil structure, interfere with carry-over of nutritious substances, keep moisture, and in that way make it possible to stimulate growth, to reduce the incidence of plants’ diseases. Besides that the glauconites have an ability of digesting radioactive and harmful impurities, influencing the migration and distribution of toxic elements between ground and plants thus substantially reducing their concentration in foodstuffs.
