Are intended for burning of solid fuel in the steam boilers evaporative capacity of which is 6.5-25.0 tons/h, in hot-water boilers the heat productivity of which is 6.5-30.0 Gcal/h as well as in the furnaces.

One of the positive characteristics of the stokers ТГП (HTG) is their simple design, rabbling of the fuel bed. The layerwise process gets mixed, as the fuel particles move along zigzag and looping trajectories. Due to agitation of the fuel particles the conditions of ignition improve, the heat losses caused by mechanical underburning go down. The higher (1.5-2.0 times more) thermal stress of the fire-bed has the edge on mechanical stokers with the chain grating. It ensures fuel economy. The reduction of machine downtime caused by absence of equipment (fuel spreaders, front lining…) working in very hard conditions, provides the stable machine work. 

The grates of mechanical stokers consist of fire bars made of heat resistant cast iron.
