The battery ash collectors of the БЦ-259 type are designed for dry collection of ash that is carried away with the smoke gases out of the furnaces of the steam and water-heating stationary boilers during the combustion of hard ash-containing fuels.

The battery ash collector is formed of the batteries of cyclone elements that ensure reliable operation of the unit during the operation of the boilers on the ash-rich fuels.

The battery ash collectors of the БЦ-259 type have a coefficient of efficiency=90% at hydraulic resistance of 1200 Pа.
