Discus and star-cover are the complete set of divine service containers for fulfilment of Holly Communion sacrament. The objects are made in traditions of Russian Orthodox Church.

Discus diameter 305 mm, discus height 165 mm.

Star-cover height 150 mm.

 

In the center of star-cover, in the plated four-petal nozzle is the large smoky quartz of a jeweller facet. "Beams" of the star-cover have the figured form.

In the center of discus (refer to " Liturgical set ") is the canonical composition  with the image of  the "Liturgical lamb", two angels with a  flabellas and Sabaoth as a pigeon. On a side of a discus is a liturgical inscription which is broken by symmetrically located crystals of smoky quartz in plaeted cartouches. The high basis is decorated by images of the cherubs in the cartouches.

Decorative furniture of discus and star-cover is finished with a flower ornament in technics of  Zlatoust engraving on metal.

 

Technique: polishing, drawing with a brush, an engraving with a needle, etching, an engraving with a cutter, nickel plating, gilding, installation of stones.
