The unit ensures frontal (prevents the inclination of head to the right-left) and sagittal (prevents the bending and extension forth-backward) fixation of cervical spine, limits the rotational movements (turns) of the head.

Indications for the usage:

· Immobilization of cervical spine after traumas and operations;

· not sophisticated, stable cervical spine fractures;

· osteoporosis;

· spondylosis;

· high-grade instability of cervical spine;

· neurological pains of different aetiology;

· spacious cicatricial diseases of the face and neck skin.

Contraindications:

· impetiginous infections;

· localized dermatitis.
